Please read these terms carefully before booking a session with Mobile Muscle Therapy. By making a booking, you agree to the terms set out below.
Scope of Service
Business Model
Mobile Muscle Therapy provides mobile soft tissue therapy, sports massage, and physical treatment at the client's home, workplace, or designated location.
Professional Standards
All treatments are performed by a certified, insured therapist operating within their qualified scope of practice.
Non-Medical Disclaimer
Soft tissue therapy is intended for muscle tension relief, recovery, and general well-being. It is not a substitute for medical diagnosis, physical therapy, or emergency care.
Booking & Appointment Requirements
Booking Window
Appointments must be booked at least 24 hours in advance via email at [email protected] or by phone on 07712 281400.
Confirmation
A booking is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation email or text message from Mobile Muscle Therapy.
Minimum Space Requirement
The client must provide a clean, quiet, and suitable environment with enough space for a portable massage table (approximately 185cm × 60cm × 64–83cm) and sufficient space for the therapist to manoeuvre.
Parking & Access
The client is responsible for providing clear access to the premises and for providing or covering the costs of parking (e.g., driveway, street permit, or pay-and-display parking fees).
Payment & Pricing
Pricing Rates
All prices are clearly listed at the time of booking and include travel fees within the designated service radius.
Travel Surcharges
An additional travel fee may apply for locations more than 10 miles from Angmering. This will always be confirmed before booking.
Payment Terms
Full payment (or deposit) is required at the time of booking or upon completion of treatment, via cash, bank transfer, or card reader.
Cancellation, Rescheduling & Late Arrival
Cancellation Notice
Cancellations or requests to reschedule must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time.
Cancellation Fees
More than 24 hours' notice: full refund or penalty-free rescheduling. Less than 24 hours' notice: 50% charge of the session cost. Same-day cancellation, no-show, or refusal at arrival: 100% charge of the session cost.
Therapist Arrival Window
Due to travel conditions, please allow a 20-minute arrival window. If the therapist is significantly delayed due to traffic or weather, you will be notified as soon as possible.
Client Delays
If the therapist arrives on time but access is delayed by the client, the lost time will be deducted from the total treatment duration without a fee adjustment.
Health, Consent & Safety
Consultation & Consent
First-time clients must complete a medical intake and health history form and sign a consent form prior to treatment.
Disclosure
Clients must disclose all relevant medical conditions, allergies, injuries, surgeries, or pregnancies. Mobile Muscle Therapy is not liable for issues arising from unrevealed medical history.
Right to Refuse Treatment
The therapist reserves the right to refuse or alter treatment if a condition presents a contraindication, including but not limited to fever, contagious illness, acute severe injury, or open wounds.
Underage Clients
Clients under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present in the room for the entire duration of the treatment session.
Personal Safety & Conduct
Zero-Tolerance Policy
Mobile Muscle Therapy maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate, sexual, aggressive, or disrespectful behaviour.
Termination of Session
If inappropriate conduct occurs, the session will be terminated immediately, the therapist will leave the premises, and full payment will remain due without refund.
Safe Environment
The treatment area must be safe, smoke-free, and free from uncontrolled pets during the session.
Liability & Property
Personal Belongings
Mobile Muscle Therapy is not responsible for any damage to or loss of personal property at the client's location.
Equipment Use
The client agrees not to tamper with or use the therapist's professional equipment (e.g., table, massage tools) without authorisation.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mobile Muscle Therapy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from services rendered.
